  Although the rooms are a little small they are nice and comfortable with aircon and Foxtel. The only downside is the noise. I had the people sharing the entrance with my room coming and going all night. This along with the noise from the cars leaving the car park early made for not much sleep. A little more sound proofing and it would have been a five.

  This hotel was absolutely perfect. I could not fault anything. The King Studio has everything you need for a single night stay. What is even better is the bathroom which is half the size of the living room and the kitchenette where you can prepare breakfast. If you are travelling to Mackay or using it as a stop over, Pacific Sands is the definite place to stay.

  The self contained appartement on the 6th floor we had is a dream. The balcony and the view, simply amazing. We enjoyed every bit of our stay.

  Clean and modern. A lapses in attention to detail, missing cutlery, dirty sofa and lighting in living room is really dark at night

  Stayed here a while back with husband and we loved it. Super modern and very well kept apartments. Great staff and not a far drive from everything that you need in Mackay. We'll be back.
